One of the most important purpose I am doing this portfolio is to introduce the student about UED 102 or well known as Soft Skills. UED 102 provides students with learning skills essential for varsity life, which should be within each student.
I have learned this topic by Madam Busrah, a lecturer at UiTM Melaka.
MODUL 1 : GETTING READY TO LEARN
Guys, our school era are over now. We are officially becaome a university student, so we need to be more matured and independent in everything. We are also need to set up our visions and targets for an achievement, attitude and management.
Transition from high school to university is a big one. Its was totally different with our school life,
so here, I will show to all of you a few things about the differents between UNIVERSITY AND SCHOOL 🎓

The conclusion that we can make is in school, your time is structered by your parents and teachers.
But, in university you manage your own time.
Your parents and teachers also will remind you of your responsibilities and help you manage them, but in university you must balance your responsibilities and set your own priporeties.
Plus, if you need assistance, you should
intiate contact with your lecturer or tutor. No more have a teacher to approach you if they believe you are falling behind.
Everyone know that making the moves from being in school is not an easy task. Student need to make new friends at the new place.Student also need to stay in hostel which is they must live with an unknown roommates and treat them such their own family. There were many things student need to getting know and adapt with the university life.

MODULE 4 : MEMORY, LEARNING & IMPROVING CONCENTRATION
Memory is the power or process of reproducing or recalling what has been learned.
There are 3 types of memory which are
- Sensory memory
Sensory memory is the shortest-term element of memory. It is the ability to retain of sensory information after the original stimuli have ended. It acts as a kind of buffer for stimuli received through the five senses of sight, hearing, smell, taste, and touch, which are retained accurately, but very briefly. For example, the ability to look at something and remember what it looked like with just a second of observation is an example of sensory memory.
- Short-term memory
Our short-term memory have only limited storage. The information must be repeated in order to get information to long-term memory.

Long-term memory is unlimited and have large storage. If the information is not being used for long time, the information will be lost.

PLAGIARISM
What is plagiarism?
Plagiarism is copying another's works or borrowing someone else's original idea.
This is wrong because it is a form of theft.By taking the ideas and words by others and pretending they are your own, you are stealing someone else's intellectual property. The plagiarizer subsequently benefits from this theft.
CGPA
WHAT IS GPA AND CGPA ?
GPA and CGPA are two different things but have the same characteristic. They are related and inseparable from each other.GPA and CGPA are benchmarks used by institutions of higher learning to assess their students' achievement levels.GPA stand for Grade Point Average and CGPA stand for Cumulative Grade Point Average.
This is example on how to calculate our GPA and CGPA.
A + : 4.00
A : 4.00
